"Electronic Synchronisation" Indramat Bosch Rexroth's SYNAX Decentralised drive systems for synchronising shaftless printing presses. SYNAX replaces mechanical drive elements with the precise, electronic, synchronous operation of individually controlled digital drives. The SYNAX CLC control card calculates the position of an electronic shaft and transmits it instantaneously with maximum resolution to all individual drives via the SERCOS digital drive interface.
ECODRIVE The economical drive solution The Indramat Bosch Rexroth's ECODRIVE digital, intelligent drive system is the cost effective solution with high functionality for practically all applications where translatory or rotary movements up to 5 kW have to be automated.
CNC Controllers and AC Drives Indramat Bosch Rexroth, a division of the Mannesmann Rexoth Group, has been developing, manufacturing and marketing controllers and drives for production engineering for more than 30 years. Particular applications for the Indramat products are CNC Machine tools, handling systems, industrial robots and transfer lines, as well as sheet metal working, printing, packaging and textile machines.
MDD Digital, Intelligent AC servo drives Indramat Bosch Rexroth's digital AC drive system sets new standards as regards dynamic performance, smooth running and positioning accuracy. The distributed intelligence makes additional functions possible, such as interpolation, electronics gearbox and electronic cam. High power density and selective axis disconnection, which has professional/trade association approved, are further features of the drive system.

INDRAMATS Bosch Rexroth 2AD digital, AC main drives are a reliable and powerful combination of maintenance free asynchronous motors and microcomputer controlled drive control units. Motor output ratings up to 90kW provide optimum technical and economic solution for every custom power and application requirement.
MTC200 Communicate Reliably with All Levels Host Computer Level Our industrial-grade PC with its standard operating system makes communications with the host computer easy and inexpensive. Hardware and software modules that are readily available in the marketplace are used: for example, Profibus - FMS, MMS - Ethernet (in development), DDE via Ethernet under Windows, NT. HMI Level The use of PC - based control unit and standardised operating systems makes it easy to exchange data over standard networks like Novell or the Microsoft Network. I/O Level Indramat Bosch Rexroth is committed to using international standards like Interbus, Profibus - Dp and DeviceNet (in development) for I/O communication. Drive Level The MTC200 uses the international SERCOS standard interface to exchange cyclical and noncyclical data with drives. Extremely short cycle times ensure that drives are synchronised and co-ordinated to microsecond accuracy. In addition, using the SERCOS interface allows all drive-internal data and diagnostics to be entered and displayed right from the PC.
The wide range of Indramat Bosch Rexroth's linear motors includes frameless and enclosed motors as well as fully-encapsulated motors. Either air cooling or liquid cooling available depending on the motor type and the requirements of the application. Synchronous and asynchronous frameless motors and particularly suitable for long traverse paths and applications requiring speeds up to 200 m/min and high forces up to 20,000 N. The use of asynchronous enclosed motors is especially recommended where short traverse paths up to 220mm and accelerations up to 250m/s2(squaredzxs) are required.
Indramat Bosch Rexroth's wide product range covers a rated power range up to 55kW with maximum speeds up to 23,000rpm. The drive electronics has power regeneration capability and, depending on the power rating, is offered as a modular unit or a complete control unit. All Indramat Bosch Rexroth's units are available with internal or external cooling and can be flexibly combined with AC drives. The Indramat Bosch Rexroth's units can be directly connected to 380 V to 460 V supplies without transformers. Safety shutdown devices are built in. The compact asynchronous motors are available in 9 sizes, with high-resolution motor feedback.
